Project
Software and hardware preparations for implementing infrared quantitative image velocimetry (IR-QIV) at FishPass
Infrared Quantitative Image Velocimetry (IR-QIV) is a non-contact velocity measurement method that can continuously calculate the mean and instantaneous flow velocity field over a large spatial area, at high spatio-temporal resolution, including calculating metrics of turbulence.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nIn this project we will prepare for installation of an IR-QIV system at FishPass, including adapting existing software and data management tools and characterizing and identifying the necessary hardware components of a system suited to FishPass.
